Made is Hamilton’s newest urban precinct. Home to a diverse hub of bustling retailers, foodies, creators and artisan vendors, Made is situated off Grey Street in popular Hamilton East. Having previously worked with many of Made's tenants, translating the marketplace's lively atmosphere into a digital space in collaboration with Stark Property was a privilege. As a new retail concept the website needed to quickly communicate what you could find at Made and how you could find it. Each tenancy needed their own page to promote their individual offers, showcase photography and highlight their contact details. The tenancy’s then needed to be categorised and filtered by location and by offer.
On top of the functionality the website needed to reflect the creativity and diversity of the market. We chose to build this on Squarespace so the website could mirror Made's dynamic growth. It’s designed for simplicity and adaptability, ensuring that as the market flourishes, the digital platform evolves seamlessly alongside. When designing Made's website, we took special care to ensure an impeccably designed mobile experience. Aligning with Google's Micro-Moments, we ensured every tap and swipe offers quick, impactful interactions, catching those fleeting moments when a user's interest peaks and turning them into memorable brand touch points. We aim to achieve the ideal balance between functionality and brand experience. The Made website is a space where users don't just visit; they explore, engage, and delight in the digital representation of Made's unique community.
